Easier, USA Made lightweight alternative to heavy snatch blocks

Pulley systems are used to double your winch force when self-recovering or redirecting your winch line to recover another vehicle. One of the first lessons you learn in winching is the increased mechanical advantage you get by rigging a pulley system. Traditionally you gained this advantage by using a snatch block, but snatch blocks are amazingly heavy, cumbersome and usually cheaply made in China. New technology in metals has helped create recovery rings /retention pulleys to replace heavy old snatch blocks. These rings are lighter, easier to use and just as strong as the old snatch block.

Redridge Industries manufactures a precision machined Recovery Ring that is built here in the USA. Made from billet aluminum alloy, coated with military-grade type 3 hard anodizing and sealed with PTFE to reduce friction and shed dirt. Since their Recovery Ring works perfectly with our 3/8″ NexGen synthetic soft shackle we decided to offer the two items as a bundled set. Additionally, we are adding our Gator-Jaw Chafe Guard for added protection at no additional cost.  The working load limit of 22,000 lbs. making it perfect for a 8k – 12k lbs. winch using a 3/8″ diameter synthetic winch line.
